"Vertigo" de U2

U2 publie Vertigo (Face B: Are You Gonna Wait Forever? et Neon Lights) en Angleterre sous le label Island records. Il s'agit du premier single issu de leur prochain album à paraître à la fin du mois: "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb".
Bono le leader, et The Edge le guitariste ont pour leur part écrit les paroles.

Le morceau devait initialement s'appeler "Native Son", évoquant un homme en désaccord avec son pays à cause de son manque de liberté. Les membres du groupe ont décidé par la suite de la renommer en "Vertigo" et de changer les paroles.
